Lana's Piano Studio

Lana Gangware is an active piano,voice teacher and music educator.  For 30 years, she has been a successful, passionate and devoted piano instructor.  She discovered her love and talent for music early in life.  In her youth she attended specialized music schools for 8 years, before attending college and then university.  She earned several degrees in music and piano performance.  She earned a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Music Instruction.  After attending the National Conservatory in Kiev, Ukraine, she earned her master’s degree in Piano Performance, Conducting and Choir Instruction.

She teaches many students that are a variety of ages and ability.  She teaches many different musical styles, including Popular, Classical, Contemporary, Jazz and Blues.  Her teaching emphasis in on keeping music enjoyable and exciting.  Her study combines theory, technique, and performance that gives the student a basic understanding of music from the beginning through advanced levels.  Presented so skillfully that the student can't wait for the next lesson.  She believes that students must feel nurtured and accepted.  She strives to create in her instruction joyful experiences and positive memories.  Lana maintains a piano studio in her home.  She teaches in her studio and remotely online using Skype.  In addition to her love of music, she enjoys golf, skiing,pickle ball, ballroom dancing and travel with her husband.
